[ Sneaking up on Hiccup from behind while he's engrossed in conversation, Jack leans around to bite him on the arm (not hard, but hard enough) and darts past like a sleek black blur with a barked laugh. Jack is, after stealing everyone's phones, Hans' crown, almost ganking Eret's golden shorts, a very badly behaved hoarding dragon.

There's a flash of blue cat-eyes over a shoulder, a glimmer of oil-rainbow scales on smirking cheeks, and Jack blows him a teasing kiss before licking his lips.

You've been Night Furied, boy. ]

Ow! [It almost feels like an animal comes out of nowhere to give him that little bite, and when he looks, he realizes he's not that far off noticing the costumed dragon immediately making haste.

There's that taunt of a kiss, which has Hiccup shaking his head.] Oh no, you don't.

[As if he'd let him win so easily. Instead, he mutters a quick apology to the group he had been conversing with, before stepping into the crowd to give chase towards the trouble making dragon.]

[ Crowing in premature triumph, Jack darts through the crowd with the occasional glance over a shoulder to try and figure out where his pursuer is, although it's difficult to see a brunette head bobbing in the dim lighting with fairy-lights dappled overhead and a sea of bodies all around. Starting for the stairs, he takes them two at a time until his tail snags on loose bit of skirting-board near the top and he has to pause to try and yank it off. ]

C'mon, c'mon, c'mon ...

[ With industrial-strength velcro sewn on the ass of his jeans, it's a lot easier to start tearing the tailfin than worth bothering yanking at the base fixed on his butt. ]

[He almost loses Jack in the crowd because being dressed in black in this darkness gave him a bit of an advantage. However, his white hair gave him too easily away and so, Hiccup could easily catch his figure darting off towards the stairway. With so many people huddled together, it takes him a while to nudge his way through, but Jack made the definite mistake of going up the stairs where he'd have absolutely no escape.

When he gets there, he begins to rush, hurrying to watch up, but pauses after climbing a few steps once realizing Jack hadn't actually gotten very far. He grins noticing the tail keeping him stationary.]

What's this? Have I possibly caught me a rebellious night fury?

I could still push you down the stairs.

[ It's said wryly as Jack straightens, folding his arms where he leans against the wall in defiance of being caught. Maybe he likes being trapped!! Losing is the new winning!! Shit. ]

With my fierce defensive viking strength? I highly doubt that.

[Yeah, he could probably topple downwards with a push of a finger and he knows Jack knows that, but hey, he can play it tough too. He'll start moving up the steps again, but this time with slow caution, you know, just in case.]

I highly doubt your fierce Viking strength is all that fierce.

[ Just in case is right. Jack crouches as if ready to run, yanking on his tail; it tears across a tail-fin and he stumbles backwards, eyes darting between Hiccup and their bedroom. If he can just ... sprint ...

And then he bolts for it with a reckless laugh. ]

You wanna see fierce? I'll show you fierce.

[Fierce or not, Hiccup makes an attempt to follow, tripping when his prosthetic gets caught on a stair showing just how big and tough he really is. Hopping back on his good foot, he makes an attempt to balance himself again, running clumsily up the rest of the way.]

[ Jack laughs at him from the doorway, cooing as a stumbling, clumsy Haddock-shaped boyfriend lumbers over. He doesn't even have the heart to close the door on him, scales glinting in the darkness of their bedroom. ]

A fierce dork, more like.

[He regains some of his balance when he reaches the top, finally able to put pressure on his prosthetic again as he makes his way to a darkened bedroom, pausing at the doorway to show off a smile in the glow of the fairy lights that decorate the halls.]

[ Jack turns his back on him a couple of meters into their bedroom, the fairy-lights having been strung up all through their ceiling too. He shakes his torn tail as he struts inside, the black latex ear-fins twitching as he wriggles his ears, biting his lip over a shoulder for effect. ]

Why don't you come find out, dragon rider.

[flightsuit]

[Hiccup can see the latex shine with the lights, laughing at the sight of the shaking tail and a mildly seductive Night Fury. He steps into the room slowly, shutting a door behind him and getting that lock, for sure.

When that's out of the way, he continues his steps closer to his boyfriend to nab him with his arms from behind, bringing him close to his own body.] You've been a little too wild tonight. Looks like I haven't tamed you well enough yet.
