Well, I usually wear undershirts, but I've taken that off too.

But it's still just like a day at the beach for you, practically! So why shouldn't it be the same for us?

[allucinator]

Cuz nobody wants to look at a buncha guys.

[He grins, though, and holds his hands up in surrender.]

But it's a pretty bra you got on.

Well, I just like to even the playing field a little, then.

[She smiles gently, cheeks just slightly pink.]

I think we, uh, might have an art class together. I like your work.

[Not that he's been spying! It's just, you know, you see the girl in front of you and you gotta check out your art.]

[She pauses for a moment, mentally recreating the image of the studio where her art class took place. Sure enough she pictured Jack there among her other classmates. Her smile broadened slightly.]

Yes! That's right! I knew that you looked familiar!

[allucinator]

There we go. Hey, uh, maybe sometime you and me could, I dunno, try paintin' together. Or somethin', I dunno.

[He's still a bit flustered by his abilities; painting isn't a very manly hobby.]

I'd love to!

[Any opportunity to make art was good in Rapunzel's book, and she especially enjoyed sharing it with other people.]

What kinds of things do you usually like to paint?

[allucinator]

Well, uh, I used to do set pieces for a friend o' mine. Background stuff, you know? So I'm real good at, you know, nature scenes, or buildings and cities, stuff like that. People's a little harder, but I can do it if I concentrate. You?

[watcheslanterns]

I tend to do a lot of illustrative work, but I really like nature scenes, too.

There's a park near here. You probably knew that already, though. But maybe we could go there sometime to paint?

[allucinator]

[He rubs his face, embarrassed but pleased, but nods.]

I'd like that, yeah. I'll brin' the paints if you brin' the brushes and canvas.

[watcheslanterns]

[The fact that they'd somehow moved the topic of conversation from her bra to spending an afternoon painting together was a little baffling, but Rapunzel was glad for it.]

It's a deal. [She struck out her hand so that they could shake on it.]
