[Rapunzel's tipsy herself, but clearly not on the same level as Hiccup is. She holds up her hands and practically catches him as he puts his hands there. She can't resist taking a good look at him bare, save for the boxers. Given the shenanigans that went down in their little house it wasn't the first time she'd seen him like that, but she still appreciated the view.]

Dancing?

[Actually, that did sound like fun. She bounced on her bare feet and grinned.]

Sure! Let's do it!

[He may not be gawking at her body because he's got more class than that, but that doesn't mean Hiccup isn't appreciating Rapunzel in her more revealing form, too. But since he's a little drunk, he's at least gonna be more suave about, removing one of his hands from hers to place it one her waist. That's right, instead of doing a little bumpin' and grindin' like everyone else is, Hiccup's going the more old fashioned route.]

Then shall we?

[Sure, you can dance ballroom style to some Lady Gaga or Robin Thicke or whatever other nonsense is playing in the living room. Why not?]

[Why not, indeed. Rapunzel was more than happy to find some kind of beat to follow with some slightly more elaborate footwork than the others dancing around them. She has her free hand rested on Hiccup's shoulder and smiles as she gives his hand a squeeze in her other.]

[He presses his forehead against hers momentarily, sending her a bright smile.] Then let us dance, milady.

[And in a swift moment, he's pulling her body in closer to his and spinning her. He's not the best dancer, but he's still sort of impressive for a guy with a prosthetic leg who was usually pretty awful on his feet. Maybe drunkenness improved his footwork somehow.]

[Here bare feet make it easy to move into the spin. A giggle bubbles out of her as she comes back against him after the movement. Her hips sway smoothly in time with the beat.]

You know, you're a very good dancer, Hiccup.

[Hiccup laughs, never thinking he'd hear those lines in his life. Dancing was absolutely never his forte.]

Well, one leg isn't going to stop me from trying to woo the young ladies with a waltz.

Is that what you're trying to do then? [Her voice is teasing, but there's an edge of seriousness to the question.] Woo me?

[He begins to realize the alcohol's already turning him into quite the courageous talker when he hears Rapunzel's question. But of course, that doesn't stop him from grinning and giving his response.]

That depends. Is it working?

Mmm. Maaaaybe.

[Grinning, Rapunzel relaxed her neck and let her head rest against Hiccup's shoulder. She may have sounded like she was playing the whole thing off, but the idea of Hiccup "wooing" her was not at all unpleasant. In fact, it made her heart flutter ever so slightly, imagining it.]

[Aw yeaaaaah, Hiccup. Still got that magic touch.]

Then let me woo away.

[The music is still rather upbeat, but he'll still begin to guide her with a softened pace, focusing more on a slow dance than an energetic waltz. Because hey, it's romantic, right?]

Absolutely.

[She found is quite comfortable, dancing so close together with Hiccup. Sure, everyone else on the dance floor was bouncing and thrusting along with the faster pace of the music, but that just made their impromptu slow dance all the more special - like they were in a place all their own for a little while.]
