[Yeah, he's gonna laugh a bit because well, that stupid game will always haunt him.]

Yeah, at least after tonight, you won't have to worry about it. Not until the next "topless" party anyway. Which, unfortunately, I have a feeling Anna will be very enthused about doing again.

Who started the idea to try and get me shirtless anyway?

I wouldn't doubt it if it was Jack. You know him and games and making things interesting. [Then again.] Anna seems like she'd try to get anyone shirtless right now though.

Or both. Those two made a fearful team together. [Shudder. Oh dear, the ideas that could arise.]

Anna's more likely to want to see my boobs.

[ gives him a look. like. Yeah. Idk either. Sister complexes, they're weird ]

But I wouldn't put it entirely past Jack... then again, he sort of owes me after the last party. [ ... ] You heard, right?

[ Jack got drunk and left elsa alone with mcdouchebagfacialhair. Nothing happened, not really, but yeah-- he owed her. ]

[And actually, he hadn't. He wasn't always entirely in on Elsa gossip around the house.]

Last party? [Well, a lot happened at the last party. So, really, it could be anything.] No, what happened?

I woke up to find Hans in my bed.

[ Wow, that sounds...Awful. ]

Nothing happened -- not really -- he just wandered in drunk after I went to bed. Aaand then we couldn't leave my room the next morning because some people decided to have sex in the living room.

[ Eventually they were chased off, but not before Elsa was pinned down. ]

[Oh. Hans. Hiccup didn't really know anything about him beyond his ability to kiss--since unfortunately he's played the "Kiss Hiccup" game too--and the fact a majority of his household and other friends couldn't stand the guy.]

So, he didn't ... do anything to you, did he? Cause if he did, I'll be glad to knock him out for you.

[Highly doubtful that he could do that with his size, but hey, he's a concerned housemate.]

No--no he was fine. A little cuddly, but fine.

[ Cuddly is an understatement. Really. ]

It's just. Anna likes him.

And then she saw us together.

Whoa, whoa, wait, Anna likes that guy? I thought she liked Jack. I could've sworn everyone knew Hans was bad news.

[Somehow this whole love-relationship-web-shaped thing between everyone in the house and their "guests" was getting pretty complicated.]

He's ... Cute. And charming enough that Anna would like him.

Though. I can't tell if he just sleeps around or --- [even worse] he's just into me.

[Well, either way, a guy messing around and leading on two sisters did not get good points in his book.]

Huh. And what about you? You're not into the whole charming bad boy thing too, are you?

I mean-- I haven't really dated... seriously before.

[Wow she-- doesn't want to even touch that.]

I guess my type is more books, to be honest.

[Well, this personal territory with Elsa was certainly new.]

No, I totally getcha. I mean, I've had my share of crushes, but I've got piles of engineering books [and dragon comics] that pretty much take over my life.

[ She ducks her head and gives a shy smile ]

Anna's always had it pretty easy, talking to people, getting guys to go out on dates with her--

[ She glances out to some particular spot in the party where she's pretty sure Anna is in the middle of the crowd ]

I've been on a grand total of zero dates since starting here.

[ Too caught up in her own work. ]

Yeah, Anna can be quite the talker.

[He knew there were a few other things about Anna that were capturing people's attention, especially tonight, but he's smart enough to avoid mentioning that bit.]

People like she and Jack tend to have it a little easier sometimes since they're a bit more comfortable with that sort of interaction. [insert roommate jealousy issues] Next to him, I just end up looking like the awkward roommate who's too into dragons.

[A nervous laugh, for accidentally bringing up his little side hobby.]

But, you know, it doesn't make much sense for you to be in the same boat. I mean, Elsa, you're a lot prettier than me for starters.

Thank you -- [ A soft blush on her cheeks ]-- but guys... don't approach me a lot. And I'm not searching for anything right now. I'd rather concentrate on my studies.

[ Well, that-- and a whole assortment of emotional constipation. A few bad experiences on dates had really ruined the entire lot for her. ]

Of course. After all, we're in college for that education, not to date around, right?

[He gives her a grin, but obviously that was totally far from the truth.

He'll even start to give a little nervous laugh, as he scratches at his neck.]

But you know, it'd still be good to take an occasional break from that and just relax while spending time with people. Even just with friends. If you wanted, maybe you and I could even hang out sometime.

[No, he totally wasn't asking her out on a date. Nope. No subtle undertones there at all. Just some friendly bonding, bro.]

But she's wondering maybe if she's reading too much into it so give her a moment to give him an out incase he needs an out because he could just be saying as friends. Yeah. okay. here's elsa overthinking things, as always ]

Oh, and what would we be doing? Discussing house gossip?

[ JOKES. JOKES ARE EASY. ]

House gossip. [He'll laugh at that, because really you can discuss the gossip of this house for centuries.]

Yeah, there's that. We could always go into deep discussions on our insane housemates and how they could probably keep more clothes on at our parties--[Oh, right. He's shirtless, isn't he? Ahaha.]--myself included, apparently.

Or--since we deal with this house on a daily twenty-four-hour basis ... if you wanted to step away from that, we could always just, you know, catch a bite, get some coffee, watch a movie, something like that.

[So maybe like a date. But he doesn't want to force that so he'll describe it casually. But really, like a date. Kind of.]
