[Apollo had heard a couple of things here and there about a house that held some pretty interesting parties, but this was the first time he was actually invited to one. Unfortunately, the invitation left out the details of the "suggested attire", so he's there in his cute little vest and white button-up, feeling extremely out of place.

And that's when she popped up.

He had seen her around campus a couple of times, but he never exactly knew who she was. Except now he's really getting to know because she's completely exposed. Literally.]

Oh! A-ah! I'M APOLLO! APOLLO JUSTICE! NICE TO MEET YOU!

[Oops. A little nervous there.]

[ Wow, nervous yeah. She can totally tell.

But she can't help but giggle at how loud he is, squinting a bit before she extends a hand- ] -- I'm Anna. Wow, out of all the parties we have here, you came to this one first?

[ A giggle. It's not meant in a bad way, clearly. ]

Are you gonna be OK?

[Oh great. Cute topless girl is talking to him. Cute topless girl wants a handshake. Hang in there, Justice. Calm down. Relax.]

I-I'M FINE! I mean, ah, I-I'll be okay. I've just ... never been to one of these before.

[Swallowing a lump in his throat, he'll reach out to take her hand, which only turns him extremely red because well, she is still topless after all.]

It's, uh, nice to meet you ... Anna.

Yeah, it might take a little getting used to.

[ She grasps his hand and shakes it lightly, but she's keeping a hold on it for a moment, if only to ask-- ]

-- Some booze might help, actually. If you drink?

[Drink? Drink? Should he? At a party like this, it might really be a bad idea, but. Oh, what the hell.]

Oh. Yeah! I do drink occasionally. That might actually be nice.

[He just doesn't do it as often lately cause well, law student. Not enough party hardy time.]

[ Jeez, she doesn't know he's a crazy drunk or anything.

Well, either way, she's totally leading him in by the hand, through the crowd and right by the refreshments! Drinks of every kind. ]

You more of a beer guy, or a punch guy, or a fancy mixed drinks kinda guy? [ she'll ask as she finally lets go of his hand to pick out a nice dark beer for herself. ]

[Unfortunately this Apollo has only drank very few times and even more rarely has he gotten exceptionally drunk, so this universe doesn't know the true wonders that is drunk Apollo.]

I'll take a beer. I try not to experiment too much with the other stuff cause you never really know what they could do to you if you have too much.

[At least he's being cautious. Though who knows, he may end up drinking other things later anyway.

And yeah, he's kind of both disappointed and relieved when she lets go, because yeah, he's still pretty nervous about talking to a topless girl ~~who doesn't even act like she's topless~~.]

Heeere ya go.

[ She'll offer him a bottle then, beaming up at him casually. Honestly, they've had a few of these before, so she's over the main jitters about it. ]

What're you majoring in?

[Okay, so talking to a topless girl may be nerve wrecking but when it's time to talk about his dream suddenly he's all GLEAM GLEAM.

I'm in Pre-Law actually. It's always been my dream to become a defense attorney. [A nervous chuckle here.] Another reason why I don't come to these things often, either. Keeps you busy.

[He'll take a sip of his drink--ooh, that's nice and colddd--before continuing.] How about yourself?

[ She can tell- and the passion makes her grin, excited for him. ]

Wow, that sounds like a lot of hard work! [ But he looks excited enough that she knows he'll manage. Unscrewing her beer and throwing the cap on the table, she'll take a swig as well. ] -- I'm not doing anything like that. Just-- communications.

[He'll offer her a supportive smile.] Just communications? Come on, that's all pretty important stuff.

And if you did something with the news, I'm sure you'd be pretty good at capturing people's attention. [Whoa, what.] I-I mean! Cause you seem really nice and stuff and you're pretty easy to talk to!

[You know, not cause you're capturing attention in other ways.]

I appreciate it, really.

[ She's not sure if she wants to be doing this, but it was one of the options that most suited her, so...

Although really, everything would have gone over her head if it weren't for his attempts to 'fix it up' as it were. Anna giggled-- face flushing as she realized just what he was thinking about. ]

Hey, don't worry about it. I just-- it'd be a really cool thing to do, reporting in front of a bunch of people, huh? --But in the end, what I really wanna do is help people out.

Yeah, that's what I want to do too!

[Oh no, Apollo's getting excited again. Mr. Justice just gets way too giddy when it comes to his lawyer dreams. He laughs, scratching the back of his head nervously.]

I mean, I really do understand that feeling. Like, as a lawyer, I hope I can just always make sure the truth comes out and people don't get into trouble for things they didn't do, you know?

[Apollo the hero, ladies and gents.]

I'm sure you'll definitely be able to do something too.

[ Giddy is kind of cute, actually. Anna can't help but like it, grinning at the enthusiasm. ]

Yeah. I'm sure you're gonna be a great lawyer! You look so excited about it.

[ She's totally not enthusiastically taking a swig of her beer, moving in a little closer. ]

And... thanks. I really just wanna be there for people. You think that's more of a Psychology thing? [ she ponders aloud, furrowing her brow as she peered at the refreshment table. ]

[Hmm. He knew little bits of psychology. It was kind of important to understand in his potential line of work. After all, uncovering the truth did come with understanding people's deeper emotions.]

It could be. Sometimes it could be difficult to be there for someone because you might not be able to relate, but if you can at least try to understand their thoughts and how that comes to be, then you've really got a better chance at help them through whatever they might be experiencing.

[It was really just a train of thought said aloud and he only just realized it after all the words were out.]

Oh, uh, sorry. That was just a thought, I suppose?

[ That train of thought had her pondering, though, and she looked legitimately deep in her own thought when he broke out of it.

'...but if you can at least try to understand their thoughts and how that comes to be...' ]

... Maybe I should switch majors, [ she blurts, but that sounds silly to a stranger, doesn't it? Either way, she's sipping at her drink with a blush. ]
